AuDHD Brains explained
What there’s different brains? In this interactive session students are stepped through the biological and behaviour differences between neuro-typical and neurodiverse brain.
The session uses images, exercises, evidenced-based facts, and neuro affirming messaging to explain the differences, strengths and challenges of both neurological brain types.
Students are encouraged to ask questions and find ways to create an environment and personal behaviour style that genuienly signals all neuro typles are valued, included, and important.

ENGAGING CHILDREN WITH AuDHD IN A MEANINGFUL AND STRENGTHS BASED PERSPECTIVE
Teaching diverse minds can be challenging at any stage of education. In this session, Bethany Brajkovich, a social scientist, shares her engagement and longitudinal attention strategies. The session is built on her lived experience as a person with an AuDHD mind, education and experience working with and running programswith diverse and at-risk children across australia.
This session will change the way you see your students and will empower and equip you to break through resistance, distraction, disruption and disinterest and move into meaningful engagement, strengths-based guidance, and neuro-affirming education strategies.

Guest Speaker Workshop with Kiind

Parents and carers of children aged 0-18 years with disability are invited to join Kiind for our upcoming Parent Training Workshop!
This workshop provides a safe, supportive space for parents and carers to learn and grow together, gaining tools and confidence to embrace this new chapter while looking after their own wellbeing.
The workshop will feature guest speaker, Bethany Brajkovich, from Unstoppable Parenting. Bethany is a Kiind parent herself and will bring both professional expertise and personal insight to the session.
In this workshop, attendees will explore how to:
Look after their own wellbeing and mental health following their child’s diagnosis
Adapt to changes in family life, routines, and schedules
Build gentle strategies to support new challenges and transitions
Find their tribe and build a support network
Acknowledge that life may look different to what they once imagined
